Repair Individual Cylinders — Without Pulling the Engine Apart

XADO EX120 Cylinder Revitalizant (9 ml tube) is a targeted repair gel engineered to restore the cylinder-piston group of gasoline and diesel engines without disassembly. Applied directly into each cylinder through the spark plug or injector hole, it forms a ceramic-metal (cermet) coating on cylinder walls — reducing inside diameter back to spec, eliminating ovality, and sealing scuffs and scratches up to 0.1 mm deep.

One of its most powerful features: selective repair. You can treat only the cylinders that need attention, leaving the rest untouched — a precision approach that saves time and avoids unnecessary intervention.

Key Benefits

  • Restores Cylinder Geometry — reduces bore diameter back to factory spec and eliminates out-of-round (ovality)
  • Repairs Scuffs & Scratches — fills surface damage up to 0.1 mm in depth on cylinder walls
  • Increases Compression — improved cylinder-piston sealing restores lost compression and engine power
  • Selective Cylinder Treatment — treat one or multiple cylinders independently without affecting the rest
  • Cold Start Protection — cermet coating protects cylinder walls during the most damaging phase of engine operation
  • Reduces Noise & Vibration — smoother cylinder surfaces lower mechanical clatter and vibration
  • Lowers Fuel Consumption & Emissions — better sealing reduces CO and HC output and improves combustion efficiency
  • No Engine Disassembly Required — full cylinder repair through the plug hole only

How to Use — Gasoline Engines

  1. Warm the engine to operating temperature — warm, not hot.
  2. Remove the spark plug from the target cylinder. Disconnect the ignition timing sensor central cable and commutator.
  3. Dissolve the tube contents in 5–10 ml of motor oil and draw into an injection syringe with an extension pipe. Total fluid volume must not exceed 20 ml to prevent hydraulic shock.
  4. Inject the gel so it coats the cylinder walls, not the piston crown.
  5. Perform 15–20 piston strokes by push-starting, rotating the elevated drive wheel, or equivalent method.
  6. Reinstall the spark plug. Crank the starter 3–4 times for 3–4 seconds with 15–20 second intervals between attempts.
  7. Reconnect the ignition cable and commutator. Start the engine and idle for 15 minutes.
  8. Drive in normal operating mode.

How to Use — Diesel Engines

The procedure is identical to the gasoline method. Introduce the product through the injector or glow plug hole. For cylinders with a bore diameter exceeding 120 mm, use 2 tubes per cylinder.

Dosage & Packaging

  • Volume: 9 ml tube (Art. XA 10338)
  • Dosage: 1 tube per cylinder (2 tubes for diesel cylinders over 120 mm bore)
