XADO DPF Cleaner & Regeneration Booster 250ml – Diesel Particulate Filter Treatment for Passenger Cars
Clear Your DPF Warning Light — Without Removing the Filter
A clogged Diesel Particulate Filter is one of the most common — and most dreaded — dashboard warnings for diesel drivers. XADO DPF Cleaner & Regeneration Booster (250 ml) is a concentrated fuel additive that uses combustion catalyst technology to burn off accumulated soot particles from inside the filter while you drive — no dismantling, no workshop visit, no expensive forced regeneration cycles.
Also available in a larger 500 ml format specifically designed for diesel semi-trucks and heavy equipment.
How It Works
The formula contains specialized combustion catalysts that lower the ignition temperature of soot trapped in the DPF. As exhaust gases pass through the filter during normal driving, these catalysts accelerate the oxidation of soot particles — cleaning and restoring the filter’s flow capacity from the inside out.
- Passive Regeneration Support: During highway driving, exhaust temperatures naturally reach 350–500°C. XADO’s catalysts make passive regeneration more effective and complete, clearing soot that would otherwise accumulate between active cycles.
- Active Regeneration Assistance: When soot loading exceeds ~45% and the ECU triggers an active regeneration cycle (raising exhaust temps above 600°C), XADO helps the process complete faster and more thoroughly.
Key Benefits
- Cleans DPF In-Place — no filter removal or disassembly required
- Supports Both Passive & Active Regeneration — works with your engine’s existing DPF management system
- Removes Soot & Carbon Deposits — effective for light to medium filter blockages
- Helps Eliminate DPF Warning Light — restores filter flow and sensor readings
- Compatible with Regeneration Systems — safe for all DPF setups including active regeneration
- Prevents Costly Repairs — regular use keeps the filter clean before blockages become critical
- Compatible with All Diesel Fuels — ULSD, biodiesel blends, and standard diesel
How to Use
- Add the full 250 ml bottle to the fuel tank before refilling with diesel.
- Fill up as normal, then drive for a minimum of 30 km (18 miles) at 2,500–3,000 RPM.
- Maintain the target RPM range for at least 30 seconds at a time to allow exhaust temperatures to rise and activate the cleaning process.
For best results, use every 1,500–3,000 miles as part of your regular diesel maintenance routine. Most effective for light to medium DPF blockages.
Compatibility
- All diesel engines equipped with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF)
- Compatible with active and passive DPF regeneration systems
- All diesel fuel types including ULSD and biodiesel blends
- Passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, and vans
Understanding DPF Regeneration
What Is Passive Regeneration?
During extended highway driving, exhaust temperatures naturally rise to 350–500°C — hot enough to slowly oxidize soot in the DPF without any ECU intervention. This continuous, low-intensity process is called passive regeneration. XADO’s combustion catalysts enhance this process, making it more effective even at lower speeds.
What Is Active Regeneration?
When the DPF soot sensor signals a blockage level of approximately 45%, the engine ECU triggers active regeneration — raising exhaust temperatures above 600°C by cutting EGR flow and extending fuel injection. This cycle typically takes 5–10 minutes. If active regeneration repeats frequently, it usually indicates a peripheral engine issue (injectors, EGR system, sensors) rather than the DPF itself.
